Ask The Experts About Forex Factory

Susan asks…

Forex Trading – how to advise newbies?

This is rhetorical question, I am a Forex trader and I like to point newbies in the right direction. However my answers keep being reported.

I don’t work for anyone else, I trade successfully from home but obviously I know the best resources in the web to go to to find out how best to trade profitably, without being scammed.

Is it that there are others on here that don’t like this?

Is there anything in particular that is wrong with advising people to look at the following sites?

Babypips, Forex Factory, Daily Fx amongst others?

admin answers:

I use two out those three myself. You are doing nothing wrong.

From the Yahoo Answers community guidelines:

“… It’s OK to accompany a good, on-topic answer with a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information. However, it is not OK to post links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations like “Will you add me as a contact?” or propositioning people.”

Are you getting a thumbs down, or is the answers being reported for abuse? There’s a difference. The first does nothing (usually trolls just cruising thru clicking on everything), but the latter could get you kicked out of the community. That happened to me a couple of years ago by some young punk with too much time on his hands that stalked me for months, reporting a few answers a week, until I lost all rights to use yahoo. I lost my email address, my blog, my avatar, everything. And I was a top contributor then also; never abused the board.

There’s too many weird people out there with an attitude problem, and sometimes it’s best just to take a break and disappear for awhile.
