You’re asking a question that only you can answer. No one here can tell you with certainty that forex trading can help you as a small time investor. Anyone who does is trying to sell you something.

It’s like asking if going to medical school will make you a successful doctor. There is no guarantee that it will.

The truth of the matter is…your success, whether it’s in forex trading or whatever, ultimately depends on YOU.

Despite what you might have heard, forex trading is NOT a way to “get rich quick”. Get rich quick only happens to lottery winners, and those folks are rare.

As for the rest of us, success only comes to those who put in the time and effort (forex trading is no exception), but even then, success is not guaranteed.

So the only real answer to your question is “Maybe”.

Forex trading has a BIG learning curve. It’s not impossible, but it does take a great deal of time to learn all aspects of the forex market, research trading strategies, and gain experience as a trader.

At the same time, it takes a great deal of discipline to control your emotions (i.e., the “psychology of trading”) and also not give in to scammers promising forex as a way to get-rich-quick.

Even if you take the time and effort to learn forex trading, it *might* help you as a small-time investor. But like I said, there are no guarantees.

Just ask the doctor who gets sued for malpractice. Hey, he studied medicine but that still didn’t guarantee him success in his profession!

Good luck.
